Toller Ersatz zu Feta
Der Bedda Hirte kommt sehr nah an das Original. Sehr gute Konsistenz. Lässt sich sehr gut, als Antipasti, in Olivenöl und Kräutern einlegen, gute Kombination zu Salaten.
Produkt lecker, Verpackung unterirdisch
Der Bedda Hirte ist extrem lecker, und kommt geschmacklich sehr nah ans origial, also absolute Kaufempfehlung was den Geschmack angeht. Leider ist die Verpackung sehr schlecht, sehr viel, sehr dickes Plastik, keine Angabe dazu ob es recycled ist. Wahrscheinlich so gestaltet damit es wiederverschließbar ist, - das funktioniert leider nicht, wenn man die wiederverschlossene Packung schüttelt kommt überall die Salzlake raus.
Da ich vermute, dass ein großer Teil der Käufer*innen wert auf nachaltigkeit und Müllvermeidung legt, wäre es wohl sehr sinnvoll da nachzubessern. Ich würde ihn jedenfalls öfter kaufen, bei besserer Verpackung.
Gute Alternative
Bisher mein Favorit bei veganem Feta. Gute Konsistenz, schmeckt auch pur und schmilzt auch sehr gut im Ofen. Preislich etwas zu teuer...

Der Bedda Hirte ist wirklich lecker, aber der Packungsinhalt wurde von 200g auf 150g reduziert, bei gleichem Preis. Sowas ist ätzend

OK for cold dishes but not as good as VioLife
Similar to vioLife but a little stronger coconut flavour and less creamy, more gelatinous texture. I prefer VioLife but this also works for cold dishes. If warmed up turns into a puddle, so Not recommended for that.
