Asian speciality made from fermented soy
Smoked tempeh is a very versatile foodstuff. Raw it can for example be added to fry-ups, crumbled into soups or salads. When mashed, it serves as a basic ingredient for vegetarian pasties and sliced you can steam or fry it, maybe after having marinated it in Tamari or Ume-su. Try it with coconut milk for an especially sophisticated flavour.
